Main Duties

• Deliver high-quality clinical care to a diverse patient population
• Participate in the duty doctor rota and contribute to on-call cover
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes
• Engage in clinical meetings, audits, and quality improvement initiatives

Training & Education

• ST2 & ST3 GP trainees
• Foundation Year 2 doctors
• Medical students (3rd and 5th years)
• Nursing students

Qualifications & Skills

Essential: Qualified GP with full GMC registration, MRCGP, current validation and appraisal, independent UK practice.

Essential communication, IT, telephone manner, Office, Outlook, EMIS/Systmone/Vision skills, time management, team, clinical policy, risk management, pressure handling, empathy, punctuality.

Desirable: SystmOne user, audit programmes lead, medicines management, ICB initiatives.

Experience

• Primary care environment, continuous professional development, QOF and audit, primary care contract understanding
• Medicines management, ICB initiatives (desirable)

Disclosure & Barring Service Check

Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. Disclosure & Barring Service check required.

UK Registration
