Job Summary

We are looking for a caring and motivated GP to join our supportive, forward-thinking practice. Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced doctor seeking a new challenge, this is a great opportunity to work in a friendly, well-established team where your contribution will be valued.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective medical care to patients registered with the practice.
• Prescribe in accordance with national and local guidance.
• Manage patients with long-term conditions and complex health needs.
• Complete administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescriptions, lab results, workflow tasks.
• Undertake consultations in line with the practice timetable, including face-to-face, telephone, video, online, duty doctor sessions and occasional home visits.
• Maintain accurate clinical records.
• Share workload fairly and work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Support clinical governance, audit and training activities.
• Comply with appraisal and revalidation requirements.
• Commit to CPD and promote a learning culture.

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified GP, MRCGP, CCT or equivalent.
• Full GMC registration and eligibility to practice in the UK independently.
• Experience working in a primary care environment.
• Experience of QOF and clinical audit.
• Excellent communication, IT skills, EMIS user.

Len Valley Practice is a friendly forward-thinking GP surgery based in Lenham Kent. The practice is led by five GP partners supported by salaried GPs, GP registrars, a strong nursing team, pharmacists, physiotherapy and paramedic practitioners.

Pay & Contract

Salary £11,500 a session. Permanent part-time.

Groom Way, Lenham, Maidstone, Kent ME17 2QF.
