🚀 Band 7 Rotational Acute Care Podiatrist

Overview

We are looking for an advanced wound care podiatrist to cover a 12 month employment break in support of the podiatry department and acute foot multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver specialist foot care as part of the MDT at the Royal Free Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist foot care as part of the acute foot MDT.
• Triage patients into defined clinical pathways internally and externally.
• Apply advanced wound care techniques as part of regular care.
• Manage clinical emergencies and cope with a busy, demanding environment.
• Uphold Trust values and demonstrate clinical governance, audit, risk management, safeguarding, duty of candour and evidence‑based practice.

Qualifications

• Post registration experience in diabetes, vascular disease and other acute foot conditions.
• Highly motivated with the ability to cope with clinical emergencies and manage stress.
• Demonstrate understanding of clinical governance, audit, risk management, safeguarding, duty of candour and evidence‑based practice.
