Overview

We're seeking a Human Resources Management Information (HRMI) Specialist to support the UKRI HR function. This role blends HR expertise with data analytics to deliver actionable insights that inform strategic decisions across the organisation.

Role Responsibilities

  • Act as the subject matter expert on people data within the Oracle Fusion system, ensuring data accurately reflects UKRI's organisational structure.
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of standard Oracle MI reporting, driving improvements in reporting processes.
  • Provide data, training and guidance to HR Business Partners to support monitoring and management of HR hierarchy structure data.
  • Advise on the use of HR and hierarchy structure data in Oracle, including user testing for Oracle upgrades/replacement.
  • Investigate and recommend BI tools to enhance insights, including the development of standard reporting capabilities using BI tools.
  • Deliver ad-hoc, complex reports for internal and external requests, including monthly and quarterly HR MI returns to ONS and DSIT.
  • Manage projects related to HR systems and data, including planning, risk monitoring and communication.

Qualifications

  • Experience in an HR or project environment, with a proven track record of contributing to successful projects.
  • Strong analytical skills to capture, analyse and present complex information both orally and in writing.
  • Proficient use of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Decision‑making, problem‑solving and independent work skills.
  • Effective time‑management and excellent communication skills.
