What you will do
- Work in partnership as a trusted advisor with senior leaders and managers aligning people strategy with SWARCO’s strategic goals, driving initiatives related to employee engagement, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and building manager capability.
- Provide guidance, oversight and case management for employee relations issues across SWARCO business areas, acting as the first HR point of contact and HR representative as appropriate.
- Lead workforce planning including succession planning, skill development and recruitment strategies.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support delivery of CSR programs focused on community impact, sustainability and purpose.
- Guide and support effective performance management processes including goal setting, reviews and development conversations.
- Support business leaders in ensuring headcount planning takes place timely within the annual budgeting process.
- Analyze HR data and business metrics to inform decision‑making and drive performance.
What we are looking for
- Demonstrable HR experience, some of which should be in a similar role in a large or medium sized organisation.
- A qualified professional Member of the CIPD (Associate, Chartered MCIPD or Chartered FCIPD) would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Effective judgement and decision making, alongside the ability to create innovative and flexible solutions to business issues.
- Experience delivering large scale projects including restructures and TUPE processes in collaboration with HR Director UK & Ireland and Regional Operations Managers.
- Experience working with leaders on employee engagement initiatives, implementing local activities fostering belonging, motivation and retention.
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of UK employment law and its application.
- Full UK driving licence and prepared to travel regularly across sites in support of business objectives.
