Yorkshire Cricket Foundation is looking for a Community Cricket Officer to join our team in South Yorkshire. This role will focus on the Chance to Shine programme and help put cricket at the heart of clubs, schools and local communities, inspiring young people and creating opportunities for everyone to enjoy the game.
The role includes:
- Delivering fun, safe and inclusive coaching sessions
- Running the Chance to Shine programme as well as other initiatives such as All Stars and school holiday activities
- Supporting clubs, coaches and teachers to grow cricket locally
- Promoting equality, diversity and inclusion across schools, clubs and communities

We are looking for people who meet the below criteria:
- Previous experience of delivering high quality, safe and enjoyable cricket or similar coaching in schools, clubs and community settings.
- Prior experience of working with diverse communities, women and girls and those from a low socio‑economic background.
- An understanding of the importance of safeguarding with the skills and knowledge to identify a safeguarding concern and experience in reporting these.
