Dietitian – Eating Disorders Unit (Band 6/7) Part-time (30 hours) | Salary: £27,706 – £48,000 per annum (DOE) Location: Southampton Hybrid option available (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) Are you an experienced and compassionate Dietitian looking to make a genuine difference in people’s lives? Join a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team providing recovery-focused care within a beautiful, therapeutic environment in Southampton. You’ll be part of a dedicated and friendly team supporting adults with eating disorders and acute mental health needs in a 13-bed inpatient setting. What you’ll do: Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients with eating disorders. Develop and implement individualised meal plans that support both physical and psychological recovery. Provide education and counselling to patients and families on balanced nutrition, healthy eating habits, and relapse prevention. Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, and medical staff to deliver integrated care plans. Monitor patient progress, adapt interventions as needed, and contribute to multidisciplinary reviews. What we’re looking for: Registered Dietitian with at least 2 years post-qualification experience . Skilled in nutritional assessment, meal planning, and counselling for complex clinical needs. Excellent communicator and strong team player who fits well within a multidisciplinary team. Empathetic, professional, and able to remain calm and supportive through challenging situations. Experience within eating disorders is desirable but not essential – full training provided.
