Position Summary Â
We are seeking an experienced CNIM-certified Surgical Neurophysiologist to join our growing clinical team. This role requires independent intraoperative monitoring across a variety of surgical procedures, including spine, craniotomy, ENT, and vascular cases. Candidates must be confident in managing complex cases and collaborating directly with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and supervising neurologists.Â
Key Responsibilities Â
- Independently perform multimodality IONM (SSEP, TcMEP, EMG, BAEP, cranial nerve monitoring, etc.)Â
- Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot monitoring equipment in real timeÂ
- Identify and communicate significant waveform changes to surgical and anesthesia teamsÂ
- Document case findings accurately and in compliance with protocolsÂ
- Collaborate with remote or on-site neurologists for case oversightÂ
- Mentor junior technologists as needed and support clinical education initiativesÂ
Qualifications Â
- CNIM certification (required, no exceptions) Â
- Minimum 2 years of independent IONM experience preferredÂ
- Proficiency across multiple modalities including SSEPs, EMG, and MEPsÂ
- Strong intraoperative communication and decision-making skillsÂ
- Ability to adapt quickly to different hospital systems, teams, and workflowsÂ
- Willingness to work early-morning and occasional after-hours casesÂ
