Our client, a leading leading architectural Façade and curtain wall manufacturer and fabricator headquartered in Philadelphia, known for delivering innovative and stunning building envelope systems for commercial, institutional, and high-rise residential projects.

As they are in process of expanding their growing engineering team they are seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer with a strong focus on structural steel design to accommodate for substantial amount of incoming complex projects on the horizon.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design miscellaneous metal fabrications and make appropriate decisions based on project specifications and budgets
• Establish appropriate loading and criteria based on codes, specifications, and engineering judgment
• Apply codes and standards as appropriate for aluminum, steel, stainless steel, bronze, wood, and glass
• Generate project calculations for review by external design team
• Review, interpret, and apply project specifications to materials and designs
• Read and interpret project architectural and structural drawings
• Provide support and coordination to operations team, factory, and field personnel as needed
• Present engineering work and lead engineering discussions during internal and external client meetings

You are responsible for leading the design and engineering of custom

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• PE license Preferred (NY/NJ/Pennsylvania)
• 5 years of professional experience in Structural Design/Architectural Design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Inventor is preferred
• Experience with Facade work, Storefronts, Curtain Wall or Window wall
• Steel/Aluminum design experience
• Local to Philadelphia as hybrid or remote is NOT offered!
