We are hiring Mobile Nurse Practitioners in the following area: Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska
Position Overview Â
Seeking a Full-time mobile Nurse Practitioner to provide at-risk foot care and wound care services to patients in a home setting & care facilities. This is a non-surgical position and requires travel.Â
Key Responsibilities Â
- Conduct comprehensive foot examinations and assess patients' foot healthÂ
- Diagnose and treat various foot and ankle conditions, such as ingrown toenails, corns, calluses, and plantar fasciitisÂ
- Develop customized treatment plans based on individual patient needsÂ
- Perform minor surgical procedures, such as toenail removal and wound careÂ
- Educate patients on proper foot care techniques and preventive measuresÂ
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient careÂ
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient recordsÂ
- Stay current on the latest developments in podiatric medicine through continuing education and professional development opportunitiesÂ
Requirements & Qualifications: Â
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) degree from an accredited institutionÂ
- Current state licenseÂ
- Strong interpersonal and communication skillsÂ
- Experience working in community health or home care settings is preferredÂ
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other healthcare professionalsÂ
- Experience in wound care, Wound care Certification, experience with providing in-home services/ mobile careÂ
Reliable transportation Â
- Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.Â
- Ability to work independently on a daily basisÂ
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skillsÂ
- Ability to use email and EMR systemÂ
- Up to 2 hour driving radius expected depending on the territoryÂ
- Completion of a one-year podiatric residency programÂ
- Current State professional license in the stateÂ
