Job Title: Shipping Clerk
Contract Duration: 4 months with potential to extend or convert
Location: Madison, WI
Work Hours: 6:00 am - 2:30pm
Qualifications/Skills Needed:
Main responsibilities:
Put-away tasks: Using put-away sheets to match SKU/item numbers with storage locations.
Picking orders: Locating and counting items based on SKUs and locations.
Dock work: Assisting with unloading small parcel shipments (UPS, FedEx), moving them to pallets. Around 250 packages per day.
Physical requirements:
Lifting up to approximately 40 pounds.
Use of pallet jacks (manual and electric), but no forklifts.
On feet all day.
No requirement to receive items into SAP system; system tasks are handled by the existing team.
Ability to interact and work as a team player.
Friendly, attentive, and able to follow instructions.
