🚀 Clinical Dietitian

Position – Clinical Dietitian Nutrition II

Contract – 5-month contract with a possibility of extension

Job Summary:

Fully competent, experienced dietitian who can cover all patient care units, including critical care (ICU and PICU). Provides comprehensive nutritional care to patients of all ages. Assesses nutrition needs, develops, implements/reevaluates care plans for patients of all ages. Educates patients and family members. Communicates patient issues to the health care team. Modifies diet orders and makes recommendations for enteral feeding modifications and nutrition supplements.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Two (2) - four (4) years of experience.
• Proficient in English, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
• Possesses familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Seeks to acquire knowledge in the area of specialty. Demonstrated analytical skills.
• Demonstrated time management and priority-setting skills.
• Demonstrates excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
• Preferred Skills & Experience:
• Oncology experience.

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics.

Preferred Education:

• Master’s Degree

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Certified Dietitian Nutritionist within 12 months of employment (New York only; Not required for NJ positions).
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Commission on Dietetic Registration).
