Position Overview:

The Senior Estimator will play a pivotal role in securing new business by producing accurate, competitive, and timely construction cost estimates. This role requires a deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and market conditions, coupled with strong analytical and communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed, accurate estimates for commercial, residential, and industrial construction projects.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and scope to determine material, labor, and subcontractor costs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure complete understanding of project requirements.
• Source and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive bids.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive cost databases and historical data for future estimating.
• Review and provide input on project budgets, schedules, and potential risks.
• Present estimates and value-engineered solutions to clients in a clear, persuasive manner.
• Mentor and guide junior estimators to enhance team capabilities.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of estimating experience in construction, with a strong track record of winning projects.
• Proficiency with estimating software such as Procore, Sage Estimating, PlanSwift, or Bluebeam.
• Deep knowledge of construction methods, codes, and industry best practices.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
