Position Summary

• Provides direct patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse and performs tasks limited to non‑invasive procedures, unless specifically certified in phlebotomy.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care tasks under RRN direction.
• Execute competency‑documented tasks and non‑invasive procedures.
• Assist with patient monitoring, vital sign documentation, and basic bedside care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• At least six months of recent hospital, long‑term care or medical work experience.
• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant Course or two years of nursing school.
• Fundamental computer skills and keyboard familiarity.
• Fluent verbal and written English.
• Strong communication, organization and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
