Job Purpose
Reporting to the Vice-President, Partnership Growth, the Regional Director, Partnership Growth, will play a critical role in selling and developing business partnerships within their market in the Americas. The ideal candidate is motivated, results-oriented, proactive, and passionate, capable of generating their own leads and converting inquiries rapidly. Success in this role can lead to broader opportunities within IWG, including leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver at least 20 new partner locations annually, increasing system revenue by $5 million to $10 million+ per year.
- Increase awareness of the IWG partnership proposition through market development and networking.
- Conduct discovery and proposal meetings with prospects to grow the pipeline towards deal closure.
- Identify and approach prospective partners via networking, prospecting, cold-calling, LinkedIn, brokerage partnerships, and canvassing.
- Sourcing partners capable of rapid network growth through existing buildings or new acquisitions.
- Present and sell partnership solutions, negotiate deals, and secure board approval.
- Convert commercial discussions into signed contracts with legal support, spending significant time in the field generating leads and closing deals.
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in sales or B2B business development in a fast-growth environment.
- Self-motivated with a focus on results, capable of sourcing and closing deals quickly.
- Proven track record of delivering multiple significant deals ($250,000+ investment) rapidly.
- Deal-focused with a resilient, risk-taking attitude.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present compelling narratives.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently to generate interest.
- Strong business and financial acumen to support the sales process.
Compensation
National Base: $70,000 - $90,000 (dependent on location).
National Variable: Uncapped quarterly commission, averaging $26,000 - $100,000 based on performance.
