The Regional Director (RD) of Sport supports the FCA vision by developing and leading the Regional Sport team, fostering unity among the Regional Pillar Leadership Team, and exemplifying FCA values of Integrity, Serving, Teamwork, and Excellence.
This role provides support to regional field staff through systems, processes, resources, and training across Sport Environments, Programs, and Facilities. The RD manages the annual budget for expenses assigned by the supervisor, stewarding finances through Home Team, Major Donors, and Events.
MINISTERIAL DUTIES
These responsibilities are vital to FCA's mission. All activities should be carried out with a heart surrendered to serving God as an act of worship.

- Engage in daily prayer and Bible study to seek God's will for FCA.
- Provide spiritual leadership through prayer, Bible study, worship, and living by example.
- Participate in a local church community.
- Maintain conduct aligned with biblical standards and FCA's Christian beliefs.
Role Responsibilities
Cast
- Help articulate the vision for sport ministry across the region, enabling staff to discover, clarify, communicate, and launch ministry initiatives.
- Ensure clear communication of regional, national, and global sports initiatives.
- Stay updated on sport environment training, processes, and resources to support ministry implementation.
Create
- Collaborate with EVP's to develop systems and resources that expand ministry scope and protect FCA's mission.
- Work with other Regional Directors to improve and implement processes and resources.
- Contribute regional insights to national/global advisory teams.
Connect
- Represent the region and foster organizational alignment and continuous improvement.
- Build relationships with regional sport governing bodies and internal FCA staff involved in ministry.
Coach
- Provide metrics and observations on ministry health and growth.
- Assist staff with daily opportunities and challenges.
- Remind and train staff on existing processes and resources.
- Gather feedback on best practices and share insights with EVP.
Donor Advancement
- Engage with current and prospective donors to ensure ministry funding, including building a Home Team of Automatic Monthly Partners (AMP) and Recurring Funding Partners (RFP).
