Program Director - Pediatrics
Job Description Summary
The Project Director is independently responsible for all daily facets of the project regarding budgetary, supervisory, and policy components. The role involves devising appropriate technical solutions, educational approaches, and clinical services for the partner facilities. The Project Director will also assist in assessing the facilities and rural community needs and resources related to young children with developmental and behavioral concerns. Additionally, they will lead systematic data collection and analysis to impact community needs and resources related to children and their families and utilize findings to drive evidence-based program improvements.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
- Lead project team working with participating facilities in collaboration with the PI.
- Train facility personnel, including the site champion, in following the telemedicine assessment and treatment protocols spanning technical and clinical support.
- Provide ongoing training support. Oversee a team of health care and administrative contacts related to pediatric services over telemedicine.
- Design and oversee comprehensive evaluation frameworks to measure program outcomes and impact across multiple domains, including service delivery, clinical outcomes, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the Operations Director to develop compliance protocols and implement targeted training to address identified knowledge gaps among staff.
- Maintain ongoing strategic dialogue with the Operations Director to identify compliance vulnerabilities and co-create standardized operating procedures for consistent evaluation framework implementation.
- Independently develop and manage data systems and analytics protocols to track key performance indicators and program effectiveness.
- Conduct rigorous statistical analyses of program data to identify trends, outcomes, and areas for improvement.
- Provide ongoing training support and evaluate training effectiveness through measurable outcomes and validated assessment tools.
- Liaise with external evaluators to ensure rigorous assessment of program impact and outcomes through validated methodologies.
- Analyze complex datasets using advanced statistical methods to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for program enhancement.
- Liaise with developmental and behavioral health treatment teams and healthcare trainees regarding training for utilization of technology, program development, and evaluation methodologies.
- Write and submit data-rich reports to funding agencies in a timely manner and coordinate data collection and entry into online systems.
- Lead the development of academic deliverables including peer-reviewed publications of program outcomes, conference presentations of evaluation findings, and evidence-based grant applications.
- Promote the project through formal and informal presentation of evaluation results for community events and national / international conferences.
- Direct the creation of evidence-based impact reports demonstrating program effectiveness to stakeholders using data visualization and compelling metrics narratives.

Work Environment
State travel may be required, including overnight stays.
Required Qualifications
Education : Masterโs degree or higher in health sciences, behavioral health, education, communication, public health, or related field.
Work Experience
- Three years of experience with program management and working with child-serving systems of care.
- Three years of experience collaborating with communities and with program evaluation.
- Three years of experience with pediatric developmental/behavioral health is a plus.
- Experience with research design, survey development, data collection tools, and advanced statistical analysis methods.
- Demonstrated experience in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, statistical methods, outcomes measurement, and impact assessment methodologies.
- Experience in designing evaluation frameworks, selecting metrics, and implementing data-driven program improvements.
- Experience with statistical software packages and data visualization tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Education : Masterโs degree or higher in health sciences, behavioral health, education, communication, public health, or related field. Education may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.
Certification / License
- Clinical trials certification.
Additional Work Experience
- Experience with project-related technologies including telehealth/telemedicine and mHealth approaches, especially in data collection and outcomes monitoring.
- Experience with pediatric developmental/behavioral health; supervisory experience with students and employees.
- Track record of producing academic deliverables such as peer-reviewed publications featuring program evaluation results, data-driven grant proposals, and conference presentations.
- Experience in school environments, particularly in educational program evaluation.
- Proven grant writing and research interest with rural communities and/or early childhood health.
- Experience translating program outcomes and complex datasets into compelling narratives for wide audiences.
