Senior Data Analyst

Location: Pleasanton, CA - Onsite (locals only)

Type: Contract

Note: Must have good experience with Python, Snowflake & Databricks.

Responsibilities

• High‑level use case/intake summary
• Engage external team leadership prior to project start (business case/justification, implementation proposal)
• Prepare Architecture Review Board intake slides
• Document key project details, main accomplishments and pending improvements
• Perform performance testing and clarify use case requirements
• Validate chatbot results with example Q&A pairs and data profiling
• Specify required data points/documents and source locations

Qualifications

• Translate business requirements to technical work, drafting and augmenting BRDs for clarity and alignment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Translate technical findings from PoCs/technical spikes into reports and leadership‑readable slides
• Collaborate with engineering and TPMs to keep projects organized; bonus for backup PM experience
• Adapt quickly to changes and contribute on multiple workstreams in parallel
• Domain knowledge in Data and AI; experience with Snowflake, Databricks, AWS is desirable
• Conceptual familiarity with data engineering, data science and AI/ML is a plus
