We are seeking a strategic and driven Sales Manager to lead regional sales efforts across the Texas Gulf Coast. This key role focuses on managing and expanding the market presence for a leading provider of maritime safety and defense solutions. You will be instrumental in driving business development, building strong customer relationships, and collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional sales initiatives aligned with corporate objectives.
- Manage a diverse customer portfolio, focusing on revenue growth and profitability.
- Promote a comprehensive range of maritime and defense safety products, including life rafts, PPE, boats & davits, and more.
- Develop sales through direct engagements and partner networks such as dealers and service stations.
- Collaborate with the service department to ensure seamless product delivery and post‑sale support.
- Participate in monthly sales meetings and contribute to KPI analysis and strategic planning.
- Provide regular CRM updates and market intelligence to leadership.
- Foster long‑term relationships with defense‑related clients and service providers.
- Assist with credit management and collections as necessary.
- Support promotional activities and sales campaigns in the region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within oil and gas and or maritime industry.
- Strong track record in client acquisition and relationship management.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and data‑driven sales strategy.
- Knowledge of maritime or defense‑related equipment is a strong advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Self‑motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
- Willingness to travel throughout the Texas Gulf Coast.
