Your Impact

We seek a strategic leader with experience leading large-scale software engineering teams with a focus on resource and utilization management. You will be responsible for optimizing team performance, project delivery and guiding multiple directors, managers and team members in a 50+ software development team. You will drive technical strategy, oversee product development, ensure high-quality software delivery and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute on engineering initiatives to align with the company's business objectives, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
• Implement processes and metrics to optimize resource utilization, ensuring teams are working on high-impact projects that align with company priorities.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to resource constraints, technical challenges, and project delivery to ensure successful outcomes.
• Drive teams to meet and exceed project deadlines
• Work closely with the CTO on product priorities
• Coach, lead and develop future leaders within CHAMP's technical team

Requirements Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, with a proven track record of managing large-scale engineering teams.
• Strong expertise in resource management and utilization, with experience optimizing team performance and project delivery.
• Demonstrated success in aligning technical initiatives with business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading and delivering large-scale, complex technical projects from conception to production
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
• Understanding of software development, system architecture, and emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in government technology, regulated industries, or enterprise SaaS is a bonus.
• Experience in a start-up or accelerated growth software company.

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this position is $200,000 to $240,000 annually. This is a good faith estimate, and final compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and geographic location.
