Job Objective
We are looking for a strategic and experienced VP of Procurement to lead our procurement operations. This executive role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing practices across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, supply chain management, and vendor negotiations, with a proven track record of driving efficiency and value in procurement functions.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Position
- Collaborates with executive leadership to align sourcing strategy with overall company goals, driving long-term value and competitive advantage.
- Develops and executes sourcing strategies that optimize total cost of ownership, quality, and supplier performance across direct and indirect categories.
- Establishes and nurtures strategic supplier partnerships to support innovation, sustainability, and supply assurance.
- Builds and leads a high-performing sourcing team, fostering professional development and succession planning.
- Oversees sourcing initiatives and negotiates complex contracts and agreements that deliver financial and operational value.
- Partners with internal stakeholders in operations, product development, finance, and legal to ensure sourcing initiatives support cross-functional needs.
- Defines sourcing policies, governance frameworks, and compliance protocols in alignment with corporate risk management standards.
- Drives continuous improvement in sourcing processes, systems, and analytics, including the use of digital procurement tools and dashboards.
- Leads efforts to assess supplier risk, implement contingency plans, and respond to supply chain disruptions.
- Monitors sourcing performance through KPIs and regularly reports on progress, savings, and strategic impact to senior leadership.
- Manages sourcing budgets and resource planning to support both current and future business needs.
- Collaborates with the executive team to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's vision and goals.

Required Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 15+ years relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 10+ years of management experience.
