Position Highlights
Nebraska Medicine is seeking a skilled and motivated Inpatient Central Pharmacist Specialist to join our overnight pharmacy team. This position plays a key role in central pharmacy operations, working alongside two pharmacists and three pharmacy technicians to support patient care and medication safety throughout the night. This role is based at Nebraska Medicine’s main medical campus in Omaha, NE.

Duties
Provide the highest quality patient care. Supervise pharmacy services in assigned patient care area and ensure all medication related patient and care provider needs are met. Work proactively as a member of a team(s) to ensure the provision of optimal pharmaceutical care. Demonstrate a dedication to continual and constant quality improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree program OR possess a Bachelor or Master of pharmacy degree with 10 years of experience required.
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Nebraska or jurisdiction in which pharmacy practice is conducted required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program, as deemed appropriate for patient facing roles and relevant to practice.
Preferred Qualifications
- American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited postgraduate year one residency preferred.
- Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) certification as deemed appropriate and relevant to practice preferred.
