🚀 Director Finance

• Directs accounting personnel to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting work.


• Oversees efficient operation of a multi-company accounting system and provides financial reporting to the agency.


• Directs general ledger activities to include closing, analysis, and production of financial statements, including appropriate revisions to keep management team and others updated.


• Oversees the development, maintenance, and practice of all accounting related policies and procedures to comply with state and federal laws.


• Maintains accounting systems and records in accordance with department needs, management requirements, and retention standards.


• Responsible for organizing and preparing for multiple external audits and reviews from various sources.


• Communicates effectively to assist other leaders with accounting and financial related questions. Helps problem solve issues and determine best course of action for various department needs.


• Assists CFO and VPs with annual budget preparation.


• Complies with all agency policies, procedures, and safety standards throughout all work areas; maintains same to meet CARF, Department of Labor, and other regulatory standards.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Directly supervises Finance staff (including, but not limited to: Three General Accountants and Payroll Specialist). Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this team. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
