NaphCare has a partnership with NetCE that provides CEU/CME for our staff. NetCE uses a rigorous peer review process to ensure that all activities and content are up to date. This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare employees to meet state‑specific licensing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Review and document the accuracy of prescription drugs received from the dispensing pharmacy.
- Execute quality assurance checks and document that prescriptions are filled correctly.
- Serve as a liaison between the dispensing pharmacy and the ADCCR.
- Identify and implement roles for inventory coordinators and pharmacy technicians.
- Establish continuous quality improvement initiatives and participate in P&T meetings.
- Maintain consistent contact with physicians, advanced practitioners, nursing, regional site administration, and client partners to communicate pharmaceutical needs of all patients.
- Ensure seamless operation of pharmacy services.
- Serve as an integral leadership role as HCV Committee member, addressing pharmacy‑related issues related to HIV, HCV, HBV, mental health, diabetes, and asthma.
- Ensure health plans and daily operations comply with policies, procedures, and standards.
- Maintain accurate and updated records of pharmacy services, therapy reports, and pertinent information.
- Conduct thorough monthly and quarterly audits of facilities to ensure proper handling of prescription medication and compliance with state/federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school.
- Unrestricted Pharmacy License in AZ.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive pharmacy experience; management of pharmacy operations preferred.
- Valid CPR or equivalent certificate.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
