NaphCare has a partnership with NetCE that provides CEU/CME for our staff. NetCE uses a rigorous peer review process to ensure that all activities and content are up to date. This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare employees to meet state‑specific licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Review and document the accuracy of prescription drugs received from the dispensing pharmacy.
  • Execute quality assurance checks and document that prescriptions are filled correctly.
  • Serve as a liaison between the dispensing pharmacy and the ADCCR.
  • Identify and implement roles for inventory coordinators and pharmacy technicians.
  • Establish continuous quality improvement initiatives and participate in P&T meetings.
  • Maintain consistent contact with physicians, advanced practitioners, nursing, regional site administration, and client partners to communicate pharmaceutical needs of all patients.
  • Ensure seamless operation of pharmacy services.
  • Serve as an integral leadership role as HCV Committee member, addressing pharmacy‑related issues related to HIV, HCV, HBV, mental health, diabetes, and asthma.
  • Ensure health plans and daily operations comply with policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of pharmacy services, therapy reports, and pertinent information.
  • Conduct thorough monthly and quarterly audits of facilities to ensure proper handling of prescription medication and compliance with state/federal regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school.
  • Unrestricted Pharmacy License in AZ.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive pharmacy experience; management of pharmacy operations preferred.
  • Valid CPR or equivalent certificate.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
