Head of Core C++ Low Latency Development / CTO - Proprietary Trading - Chicago

Responsibilities

• Lead a core C++ low-latency development team (initial scope 10, potentially up to 20 people).
• Provide technical leadership and influence product and architectural decisions for a proprietary trading firm with activities across equities, options, and futures.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define the technical roadmap and ensure delivery of high-performance systems.
• Mentor engineers, foster a strong engineering culture, and drive best practices in low-latency development.

Qualifications

• Strong background in C++ with low-latency trading experience.
• Experience leading a technical team; potential CTO track or equivalent leadership role.

Compensation

Base pay range $10.00/yr - $15.00/yr
