Job Overview
Join Fox Corporation as a Compliance Counsel/DOJ Experience reporting directly to the Deputy Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer. The role focuses on building and managing key compliance functions—internal investigations, risk assessment, training, policy development, and third‑party oversight—to support the company’s global ethics and compliance program.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support internal investigations involving potential misconduct, including fact‑gathering, witness interviews, documentation review, and investigative report preparation.
- Coordinate remedial actions and track follow‑up measures.
- Support the implementation of compliance programs across various departments.
- Develop and implement compliance monitoring plans and reporting mechanisms.
- Draft and update compliance policies, codes of conduct, and business practice standards.
- Provide guidance and training to business units on compliance policies and obligations.
- Monitor enforcement trends and recommend policy updates as needed.
- Assist in developing training content for employees on key compliance topics such as conflicts of interest, anti‑corruption, gifts & hospitality, and third‑party risks.
- Partner with HR and internal communications to ensure timely, accessible, and engaging training.
- Conduct compliance due diligence on vendors, suppliers, and other third parties.
- Perform legal and compliance due diligence on M&A targets.
- Enforce third‑party onboarding protocols and contract risk assessments.
- Monitor developments in relevant laws, regulations, and enforcement actions affecting company operations.
- Advise internal stakeholders on compliance risks for marketing, distribution, content, and licensing activities.
- Contribute to enterprise and business unit‑level risk assessments.
- Draft integration memos and action plans to ensure seamless onboarding of acquired entities into compliance programs.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in in‑house, government enforcement (e.g., DOJ, SEC), or law firm white‑collar/compliance practice.
- Demonstrated experience in internal investigations, corporate compliance, or regulatory counseling.
- Excellent investigative, analytical, and legal writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
- High integrity, discretion, and ability to manage sensitive matters professionally.
- Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Sound judgment and a pragmatic, solution‑oriented approach to legal risk.
- Proficiency in Spanish (written and verbal) is a plus.
- Some domestic and occasional international travel.

- Experience in media, entertainment, or technology industry.

Compensation & Benefits
Pay range: $143,000–185,000 annually, plus an annual discretionary bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with the applicable plan documents.
