Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler for a 4-6 month remote contract engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture and modeling principles with hands-on expertise in designing and maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support enterprise-level data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support data integration, warehousing, and reporting initiatives.
• Implement dimensional modeling techniques (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema) for analytical and BI use cases.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into robust data models.
• Apply best practices in data normalization to ensure data integrity, consistency, and scalability.
• Review and refine existing data models for optimization and alignment with current business needs.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data profiling, validation, and transformation support.
• Ensure data models align with enterprise architecture and support data governance and quality initiatives.

Required Skills
