🚀 Senior Estimator

Overview

The company is a multi-faceted electrical contractor specializing in commercial and industrial projects across Northern California. An expert team that has been working together for over 30 years, and takes great pride in their work and their ability to retain long-standing client relationships.

They are seeking an experienced, self-driven Chief Estimator to take full ownership of their estimating function. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed, accurate cost estimates to maintain and grow the company's project pipeline.

Role Description

• Serve as the primary lead for all estimating and bidding functions within the company.
• Prepare comprehensive and competitive cost estimates for large-scale commercial and industrial (water/wastewater) electrical projects.
• Coordinate bid packages and proposals, ensuring all project scope requirements are addressed.
• Work collaboratively with the office and field teams during the bidding and project hand-off phases.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of dedicated, professional estimating experience in the construction industry.
• Proven expertise in estimating commercial and/or industrial electrical projects, particularly those involving water and wastewater facilities.
• Demonstrated ability to function in a strictly estimating capacity, without primary project management responsibilities.
• Strong technical skills with estimating software and blueprint interpretation.
• Must be seeking a long-term role.

Salary up to $140,000.00
