About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Director of Prospect Management and Research to join their mission-driven Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the donor identification and qualification process, managing and analyzing data related to potential donors, and providing research-based analysis to inform cultivation and solicitation strategies. This role is pivotal in supporting the fundraising efforts of the organization, particularly in the areas of annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, and institutional giving. The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years' related work experience, with a proven track record in prospect research and a strong ability to perform comprehensive, in-depth research using a variety of sources. Experience with CRM, particularly Raiser's Edge/NXT, and prospecting software such as iWave, is highly valued. The role requires a candidate with strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills, who is adept at interpreting complex data and making evidence-based judgments. The candidate should be self-motivated, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines. Responsibilities also include overseeing prospect research requests, ensuring the correct implementation of research-related procedures, and making recommendations for research sources. The Associate Director will be expected to work closely with the gift officers, CEO, and other senior leaders, and to support corporate and foundation fundraising efforts. The position offers the opportunity to be part of critical and meaningful work, contributing to the organization's efforts in saving lives and making a difference in the community.
