Additional Responsibilities

• Develop and complete pivotal initiatives for the Engineering department and adjust operations to meet strategic goals and interests of Resort Operations.
• Conduct weekly walk‑throughs of each resort tower to visually assess building structures.
• Maintain the level of safety, efficient maintenance, and operation of all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related equipment.
• Assign routine maintenance tasks in public spaces, meeting rooms, guest rooms, outlets, back‑of‑the‑house spaces, and grounds.
• Assign and verify completion with all Maintenance Technicians of all repair, replacement, and renovation projects to offices and employee work areas.
• Ensure the property’s Emergency Preparedness and Safety Awareness Plan(s) are updated and current at all times.
• Ensure compliance with Hilton and Hilton Grand Vacations Brand Standards related to engineering, such as preventive maintenance of each unit twice per year.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of operating supplies and ensure purchasing procedures maintain an adequate supply.
• Ensure all department assets, equipment, supplies, and storage are accurately locked and secured.
• Develop and maintain human resource management practices performed by subordinates, including recruitment, performance management, and corrective action in partnership with the HR Business Partner.
• Partner with Senior Leadership to prepare Reserve spend projects and Capital Projects.
• Develop and lead financial spending of operations related to the annual HOA budget, Reserve budget, and Capital Budget.
• Participate in the MOD program as assigned by Senior Leadership.
• Other duties as assigned by Senior Leadership.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 5+ years of engineering experience in hotels or related industry
• 5+ years in a leadership role in a similar environment
• Fully flexible schedule – weekends as needed
• EPA – OSHA 10‑30 – CPO, CPR/AED certifications
• HVAC certification
• Ability to write and speak English to comprehend and communicate job functions to engineering staff
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred

• BA/BS bachelor’s degree
