Job Details

We are seeking a driven and detail‑oriented Permanent Senior Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is integral to the success of our operations and requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in the field. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the manufacturing process, with a particular focus on low volume engineer‑to‑order. They will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient manufacturing systems, managing teams, and driving continuous improvement to ensure maximum productivity and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, design, and implement manufacturing processes and equipment for maximum efficiency, utilizing lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • Analyze manufacturing workflow to develop the most efficient procedures and processes.
  • Troubleshoot issues and bottlenecks within the manufacturing process and devise strategies to reduce downtime and increase productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand product specifications and design manufacturing processes accordingly.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve quality, and increase output.
  • Manage and mentor teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of systems and processes, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of workplace safety.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of raw materials and components.
  • Forecast and manage budget for manufacturing processes, ensuring cost‑effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in low volume engineer‑to‑order.
  • Proficiency in CAD and other engineering software programs.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodology.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams and projects effectively.
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the Manufacturing industry.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
