The Role
As Vice President, Construction – Midwest Region, you will be the key leader of our regional operations. You will meet revenue and margin targets in a safe and quality manner, drive consistent and compliant processes, and align the Congruex culture and goals across all regions.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage all field operations across a defined region.
- Target $120M‑$180M of annualized work per region across multiple markets.
- Lead 2‑3 market managers who oversee 200‑400 field members.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and with quality.
- Drive the culture and operating environment across the region.
- Own the region’s financial performance.
- Optimize resource utilization to meet margin objectives and customer deliverables.
- Deliver construction services within contract terms, industry standards, and permit requirements.
- Report on KPIs and performance across the region.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in construction/telecom industry with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Track record of managing large‑scale, complex construction projects on time and on budget.
- Proven leadership and cross‑functional team inspiration.
- Experience managing field operations, including superintendents and craft workers.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, governance, and best practices.
- Experience developing and implementing metrics and KPIs for project performance.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and mentorship skills.
- Proficiency in change, risk, issue, and quality management processes and ERP/project management tools.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and identify growth opportunities.
