Associate Director, Lakehouse Event Production
Join KPMG US as an Associate Director, Lakehouse Event Production to lead creative and technical event production for our Lakehouse program. This role drives high-impact session production, collaborates with cross‑functional partners, and enhances participant experience across KPMG Lakehouse events.
Responsibilities
- Lead production of general session programs, including collaboration with program sponsors, content development, theme design, timeline management, budget adherence, and relationship management with operators and lakehouse leaders.
- Manage a production team and oversee technical production providers, ensuring appropriate staffing, inventory control, safety, security, and quality assurance, and identify equipment upgrades as needed.
- Serve as a strategic business partner, working collaboratively with stakeholders at KPMG Lakehouse locations, external venues, and internal teams to deliver exceptional participant experiences while supporting business objectives.
- Drive knowledge of new product and service offerings, emerging technology, and vendor solutions to develop and implement next‑generation event delivery solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum eight years of recent experience in live event production.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in show management, including developing run‑of‑show, production schedules, and related activities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; strong aptitude for project management, people leadership, and vendor relationship management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, analytical, and presentation skills to lead in a client‑focused and teamwork‑driven environment.
- Ability to lift up to thirty‑five pounds.
