GENERAL SUMMARY:
Established company with a significant share of the U.S. market in electroplating, located in southwest suburban Atlanta. Opportunities available for a Manufacturing Supervisor – Electroplating or a Manufacturing Manager – Electroplating . The role oversees the plating department's daily operations, focusing on safety, production, and quality. Responsibilities include production planning and scheduling. The supervisor manages a team of 12. This day shift involves 10-hour days Monday through Thursday, with some hours on Friday, and hours may vary. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate daily scheduling and effectively utilize personnel.
- Ensure controls over plating chemicals are maintained.
- Implement corrective actions for process optimization.
- Supervise activities related to electroplating, rack stripping, finishing, and inspection.
- Maintain knowledge of production plating processes and procedures.
- Oversee corrective actions in plating processes.
- Coordinate continuous improvement projects.
- Assist in maintaining quality system requirements.
- Provide proper training and tools to plating personnel to meet process parameters.
- Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance activities are performed.
- Train lab personnel in analytical techniques and procedures.

- Ability to interpret safety rules, instructions, manuals.
- Basic math skills, ability to use a calculator.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly stand, walk, sit, talk, hear; reach with hands and arms; lift up to 50 pounds.
