GENERAL SUMMARY:

Established company with a significant share of the U.S. market in electroplating, located in southwest suburban Atlanta. Opportunities available for a Manufacturing Supervisor – Electroplating or a Manufacturing Manager – Electroplating . The role oversees the plating department's daily operations, focusing on safety, production, and quality. Responsibilities include production planning and scheduling. The supervisor manages a team of 12. This day shift involves 10-hour days Monday through Thursday, with some hours on Friday, and hours may vary. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate daily scheduling and effectively utilize personnel.
• Ensure controls over plating chemicals are maintained.
• Implement corrective actions for process optimization.
• Supervise activities related to electroplating, rack stripping, finishing, and inspection.
• Maintain knowledge of production plating processes and procedures.
• Oversee corrective actions in plating processes.
• Coordinate continuous improvement projects.
• Assist in maintaining quality system requirements.
• Provide proper training and tools to plating personnel to meet process parameters.
• Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance activities are performed.
• Train lab personnel in analytical techniques and procedures.

• Minimum 2 years of plating supervision in manufacturing for Supervisor role.
• Minimum 2 years of managerial experience in plating within manufacturing for Manager role.
• Ability to interpret safety rules, instructions, manuals.
• Basic math skills, ability to use a calculator.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Regularly stand, walk, sit, talk, hear; reach with hands and arms; lift up to 50 pounds.
