Position Overview

The Technical Specialist is responsible for the technical setup and operation of mid-level production events in a hospitality environment, ensuring client satisfaction. This position reports to an Associate Director or Director of Project Management.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment to ensure flawless event execution.
• Manage equipment security, setup, breakdown, and inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service and effective communication with clients and team members.
• Mentor and develop technical staff and stay updated with industry trends.
• Supervise event operations and assist in equipment maintenance.

Job Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience in event technology, specializing in Audio, Lighting, Projection, or Video
• Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Physical & Work Environment

Must meet physical demands and work in hotel or warehouse environments, with irregular hours and exposure to heights, noise, and outdoor elements.

Compensation

Hourly pay range: $29.58 - $34.50, based on experience and location. Benefits are provided.
