Lead Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to drive industrial projects from concept through commissioning. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex engineering initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and work hands-on with clients to deliver high-quality, technically sound solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Lead mechanical engineering efforts on industrial projects, ensuring compliance with codes and client specifications
• Design and specify custom and OEM systems: piping, HVAC, rotating equipment, and process skids
• Coordinate mechanical drawing packages, calculations, specifications, design reviews, and vendor engagement
• Mentor engineers and designers, ensuring quality and technical excellence
• Partner with clients to define scope, present designs, and provide technical recommendations

What You Bring

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering (PE license preferred)
• 10+ years in industrial/capital project environments with strong cost estimating and project prioritization skills
• Expertise in mechanical systems including process piping and pressure vessels
• Deep knowledge of ASME and related mechanical codes, plus fabrication techniques
• Collaborative, adaptable, and growth-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment
