Base pay range

$130,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to provide advanced technical expertise and design leadership on transportation, highway, water conveyance, and municipal infrastructure projects . This role involves working closely with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies to develop innovative, practical solutions that meet community and environmental needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering design and technical analysis for a variety of civil infrastructure projects , including highways, traffic systems, water pipelines, pump stations, and municipal improvements.
• Develop design plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports in accordance with agency standards and best practices.
• Provide oversight and quality control for engineering deliverables prepared by junior staff and subconsultants.
• Coordinate with permitting agencies, municipalities, and utility companies to secure project approvals.
• Support project managers in preparing proposals, schedules, and budgets.
• Review construction documents, respond to RFIs, and provide technical support during construction.
• Mentor and train junior engineers and designers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
• Contribute to innovation by recommending new tools, methods, or approaches to enhance efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Licensure: PE required
• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, including transportation, traffic, highway, municipal, or water conveyance projects .
• Demonstrated ability to perform and oversee complex design work.
• Proficient in CAD, Civil 3D, and other design software commonly used in infrastructure engineering.
• Strong technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams.
