Job Description
Professional level sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and expansion. Partners with GM to manage team members. Requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts. Must source parts from various channels including special orders, FDO, and second sources. Ability to direct drivers for timely and accurate delivery. This is a full-time position.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain commercial customer relationships
- Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
- Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
- Support day-to-day supervision of team members
- Collaborate with GM on coaching and development
- Dispatch drivers to ensure delivery standards
- Maintain commercial stocking programs
- Build and sustain a network of second source suppliers
Secondary Responsibilities
- Maintain core bank and commercial returns
- Manage commercial credit accounts
- Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

- Understanding of commercial profitability concepts
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends
Prior Experience
Minimum of 3 years automotive parts experience preferred. Proven sales ability and team leadership experience are advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or GED required.
Certificates
ASE Certification preferred but not required.
Physical Demands
Must be able to walk, stand, lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and 100 pounds occasionally. Must have good vision and manual dexterity.
Work Environment
Primarily inside, with occasional outside work in various weather conditions. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise is possible.
Position eligible for sales commission based on performance.
