Responsibilities include:

• Developing and negotiating airworthiness plans and certification activities.
• Reviewing and coordinating with engineering disciplines across the system lifecycle.
• Translating customer requirements into certification criteria and requirements.
• Managing airworthiness evidence for military flight releases and continued airworthiness.

Qualifications:

• For Principal level: Bachelor’s in STEM + 5 years (or Master’s + 3 years, or Ph.D. + 0 years).
• For Sr. Principal level: Bachelor’s in STEM + 9 years (or Master’s + 7 years, or Ph.D. + 4 years).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and SAP clearance.
• Experience with airworthiness plans, certification, and UAS/RPAS certifications.

Preferred skills include: military aircraft development, process improvement, UAS experience, systems engineering, and familiarity with regulations and policies.

Salary ranges from $95,300 to $178,000 depending on the level and experience. Northrop Grumman offers comprehensive benefits and considers various factors for compensation.
