Bridge Engineer

Business And Technology Solutions is seeking a Bridge Engineer to manage all engineering duties for Bridge / Structural projects from design through construction. The Bridge Engineer may be involved in, but not limited to, a combination of the following: project scoping and estimations; reviewing and/or preparing reports, budgets, and other project documents; process improvement; directing other engineers, technicians, administrative team members, and/or subcontractors; participation in business development as appropriate; and other related activities.

Qualifications

• Registered Professional Engineer or willingness/ability to obtain PE within 12 months
• 7+ years of site analysis and design experience, with strong knowledge of design standards
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (ABET / EAC accredited program)
• Solid verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with any of the following is preferred: STAAD.PRO, MDX Steel Girder Design, ConSpan, AASHTO-BrDR
• RIDOT, MassDOT, ConnDOT experience preferred
