Responsibilities as the Construction Project Manager:
- Project Oversight: Manage multiple concurrent commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Site Management: Conduct daily site visits across the Greater Boston area to monitor job progress, safety compliance, and subcontractor performance.
- Client & Contractor Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and timely updates.
- Budget & Timeline Tracking: Develop and monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource plans to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Document Control: Maintain accurate records including RFIs, change orders, drawings, submittals, and meeting documentation.
- Quality Assurance & Safety: Enforce quality standards and OSHA compliance, conducting routine site inspections and resolving on-site issues promptly.
- Education: Bachelorβs degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field required.
- Experience: 5+ years managing commercial construction projects, with expertise in budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
- Licensure: Valid driver's license required for daily travel to job sites.
