Under the supervision of the Regional Mortgage Leader, the Mortgage Consultant is responsible for advising new and existing clients on residential mortgage programs obtained from various sources including realtors, builders, newspaper ads, and other nontraditional sources.

1. Produce high-quality loans that meet Prosperity Mortgage guidelines while providing excellent customer service.
2. Advise prospective and existing customers about Prosperity’s programs, rates, policies, and procedures. Develop and maintain a high visibility for Prosperity in the marketplace.
3. Analyze detailed financial and credit data; match customer needs to an appropriate loan program and risk level.

• College degree or equivalent training and experience required.
• Experience in mortgage sales or operations with a proven track record of agency, government, and jumbo origination.
• Phone skills and social media experience required.
• Must possess all applicable licenses.
• Ability to travel within the local area; must provide own transportation.
