About the Role

A Senior Technical Consultant is a member of Workday’s Global Professional Services organization dedicated to the implementation of our cloud-based software within medium to large sized companies. We help customers make the most of the Workday platform. The Senior Technical Consultant works closely with the client’s project team to design, develop, and deploy a customer’s integration solutions. They will also work with Workday Deployment Partners in an Advisory capacity on Partner led deployments. The Technical Consultant has knowledge of core design principles, common integration patterns, project implementation methodology, and a successful track record of delivering.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Lead and project manage integration workstream(s), hitting delivery dates and driving results
• Become an expert on the specific Workday functionality, configuration, and technology
• Conduct discovery sessions to develop and document a thorough understanding of customers’ integration needs
• Design and implement integrations to address complex customer and vendor requirements
• Assist customers in testing integrations and conduct knowledge transfer sessions to ensure post-production success
• Engage with other members of the Global Professional Services consulting team and lead internal initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years demonstrated integration experience in Human Resources, Payroll, Integration domain experience
• Minimum 4+ years with the ability to consult as an Advisory or Architect on customer implementations
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in architecture, Design and Build integration solutions

Other Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience – preferable in Finance or Accounting
