🚀 Immigration Attorney

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Immigration Attorney to join our legal team. This role requires exceptional legal drafting skills, research abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality legal services to our clients. The Attorney will be responsible for handling some employment-based immigration matters, representing clients in USCIS interviews (primarily family-based cases), removal defense hearings and in Immigration Court.

This role is ideal for attorneys seeking flexibility while gaining experience in a variety of immigration case types. The role has the potential to develop into a full-time position over time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend USCIS interviews (primarily family-based cases)
• Represent clients in Immigration Court.
• Prepare clients for interviews and hearings
• Assist with employment-based petitions and filings.
• Collaborate with founder attorneys and legal assistants on case strategy and workflow.

Qualifications:

• Active license to practice law in Illinois.
• At least 1 year of experience in immigration law (preferred but not required).
• Strong organizational, research, and writing skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
