What to Expect

(Job Responsibilities)

  • Lead global payroll operations across multiple countries, ensuring timely and accurate processing for all employees
  • Manage payroll accounting, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end close
  • Drive automation and process improvements to optimize payroll systems
  • Oversee and consolidate third-party payroll providers, managing SLAs and vendor relationships
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal, managing audits, SOX compliance, and payroll-related controls

What is Required

  • 10+ years of progressive payroll experience, including 5+ years leading global payroll operations across multiple regions
  • Deep expertise in payroll regulations, tax laws, compliance, and payroll accounting
  • Hands-on systems knowledge, including payroll/accounting/banking platforms and advanced Excel skills
  • Technical capability in SQL and data warehousing concepts
  • Strong leadership and people management skills

How to Stand Out

  • Experience with specific payroll/accounting platforms such as Dayforce, NetSuite, ActivPayroll, or JPM
  • CPA and/or CPP certification
  • Proven experience in driving automation and process improvements
