This role is focused on advising and partnering with leadership to influence organization design, people strategy, and workforce planning.
Responsibilities
- Provide organizational development support; work with business teams and functions to understand current and future business goals and trends that may impact workforce needs and initiative
- Engage with business leaders on people strategy and how to deliver through workforce planning and organization design and structure
- Act as an effective change agent in an environment of innovation and continuous improvement
- Develop knowledge and skills to reinforce the SGWS culture with leaders and employees
- Partner with SGWS University and business leaders to develop programs and initiatives which help educate and reinforce the culture with teams
- Present solutions to issues in a concise manner to varying levels of leadership using analytics and sound business acumen
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and five years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects through full lifecycle (design, develop, implement) and deliver impactful results
- Ability to travel: 5-10%
- Managerial courage to constructively challenge conventional thinking
- Two years of progressive, relevant HR experience: Employee Relations, Total Rewards, Performance Management, Employment Law, etc.
- Proven success in implementing core talent management processes
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills; ability to execute effectively
- Confidence interacting with senior/executive leadership
Physical Demands
- Significant time sitting and typing, using a computer
- Occasional walking, bending, reaching, standing, stooping
- Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs
