Location:

Houston, Texas

Duties:

Represent clients in a wide array of commercial disputes including breach of contract, construction, partnership, investment, and regulatory matters

Draft legal pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and complex motions

Conduct legal research and prepare written memoranda and briefs

Handle depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation

Advise corporate and municipal clients on litigation strategy and legal exposure

Manage cases from initial investigation through resolution with appropriate autonomy

Collaborate with internal teams to deliver consistent, results-oriented representation

Requirements:

5–7 years of experience in complex commercial litigation

Demonstrated ability to manage caseloads with minimal supervision

Strong legal writing and analytical skills

Willingness to work in-office with occasional flexibility

Interest in a results-driven, lower-billable-hour environment

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Active license and in good standing with the Texas State Bar

Skills:

Complex legal research and writing

Motion practice and litigation strategy
