Dummit, Buchholz & Trapp’s San Diego office is seeking a litigation associate with at least 3 years’ experience. A current California Bar license is required. Experience in healthcare and/or medical/healthcare training/background is a plus. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wishes to be part of a welcoming and dynamic law firm serving appreciative clients. We seek candidates with significant experience in law and motion work, defending and taking depositions, and a strong background in matter investigation and development. Candidates should be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a team environment. Our practice involves professional liability defense for hospitals, physicians, and healthcare providers, as well as representing healthcare licensees before licensing boards. We also utilize the latest Lexis + AI platform. This position is flexible for remote, hybrid, or full-time in-office work.

The salary range is dependent on experience, from $110,000 to $150,000 annually, and includes comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, a 401(k), paid time off, life and vision insurance, and a productivity-based bonus program, with a reasonable billable hour requirement.
