Overview

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Telecom Attorney to join our fast-paced legal team. This role will provide legal services and guidance to our telecom department, focusing on wireless facilities, lease negotiations, and master lease agreements. The successful candidate will be a key player in shaping our company's legal strategies and policies, ensuring compliance with telecom regulations, and managing risks. Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements related to telecom, including wireless facilities, lease agreements, and master lease agreements.
• Provide legal advice and guidance on all aspects of telecom law, including regulatory compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with various departments to identify potential legal issues and develop strategic solutions.
• Stay abreast of developments in telecom law and regulations and provide timely updates and training to relevant teams.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings, if necessary.
• Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance in all telecom operations.
• Work closely with external counsel, as needed, to manage legal risks and ensure the best possible legal outcomes for the company.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Illinois Bar.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Attorney, Transactional Attorney, or Real Estate Attorney, with a focus on telecom law.
• Proven experience in wireless facilities, lease negotiation, and master lease agreements.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
• Sound judgment and ability to analyze situations and information.
• Knowledge of current telecom laws and regulations.
