Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Civil and Family Law Paralegal. The paralegal will be responsible for supporting attorneys in all aspects of case preparation and management, including conducting legal research, drafting documents, and managing case files. The paralegal will also be responsible for interviewing clients, preparing deposition summaries, organizing evidence, and providing trial support. Additionally, the paralegal will ensure all court filings are completed accurately and timely and maintain communication with clients, witnesses, and court officials.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and documentation
  • Experience in case file management and trial preparation
  • Strong communication skills, including interviewing clients, preparing depositions, and maintaining court communications
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases efficiently in a remote environment
  • Knowledge of Civil and Family Law practices and procedures
  • Bachelor's or AA degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
  • Certification from an accredited paralegal program is required (in lieu of an AA)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a paralegal role, with specific experience in Corporate, Business Civil, and family law
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge and experience using Clio preferred
